The Artificial Intelligence Association (AIA) is a hypothetical rebrand of the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI), a nonprofit scientific society devoted to advancing the scientific understanding of the mechanisms underlying thought and intelligent behavior and their embodiment in machines.

Inspired by Robert Irwin’s Miracle Mile, this multimedia installation simulates a download bar of a BitTorrent client, where files exchanged in peer-to-peer networks are in fragments rather than a standard linear progression. Passersby can engage in the process of downloading a torrent as a “peer” in order to generate a printed copy of The dotCommunist Manifesto (Eben Moglen, Columbia University). The installation senses and lights up with the movement of all participants. When all lights are maxed, the printing process automatically initiates.

Cos-Rx is a global Korean skincare brand merging dermatology and cosmetics, focusing on natural, high-quality products at an affordable price. Targeted towards conscientious teens and young adults, the new Cos-Rx adopts a more sustainable design using recycled paper pulp and highlights unique ingredients such as snail mucin and galactomyces fungus.

Inspired by the organization of medical forms, the visual language showcases linework and typography in order to create a functional, modular graphic system to package different types of skincare products.

Ascension is a condensed serif typeface inspired by Japanese system fonts and their unique treatment of roman letterforms.

Occidental Sans is a pragmatic, sans serif typeface crafted for use in the educational realm. It is inspired by Univers and Akzidenz and aims to achieve a fresh alternative to traditional typefaces while still retaining reliable and functional quality.

Central Display is a monospaced display typeface inspired by arcade technology and graphics. It aims to deconstruct and systemize all the magnificent chaos into simpler forms that still exert rhythm and expression.

Orbit is a work-in-progress sans serif typeface bespoke to Softshell Studio inspired by geometric forms with a classic rigor and a tidy, friendly and winsome touch.
